BECOME A PRESENTER
AT THE HOW-TO FEST
Interested in presenting at the How-To Festival? Here's what you need to know!
Each How-To Festival features 30 to 35 subject experts, crafters, and enthusiasts stationed at tables throughout the Germantown Community Library. Each presenter is encouraged to prepare a live demonstration of their craft, show step-by-step stages, and/or have a hands-on experience for attendees, who visit tables to learn more about each topic. Topics range from beekeeping and woodworking to smocking and dulcimer playing... the more diverse the subject range, the better!
How-To Festival presenters are volunteers sharing their passion for making and DIY with the community. No selling is allowed at the event, but presenters are encouraged to bring cards or flyers to advertise their goods.
Both indoor and outdoor tables are available, reserved on a first-come, first served basis. Tents are provided to shade outdoor presenters.
Treats and cold drinks are available for presenters, and we recommend having at least two people at your booth so there's coverage for breaks.
