Terrarium Basics

Metalworking
11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Outdoor Tent
BMB Designs will demonstrate many aspects of metalworking during this demo and Q&A, including topics such as sinking a bowl, fold forming, and small jewelry making, depending on the interests of the audience. Registration is not required. Handcrafted items will be available for sale.

Leatherworking
11 to 11:30 a.m., Interior Conference Room
H. R. Brown of Silhouette Leathers will present a demonstration with Q&A of working and stamping leather. Register beginning April 11 by calling 901-757-7323.

Simple Bookbinding

Join this hands-on session with Dawn Vinson to make your own small books with the simple pamphlet stitch. Ages 8 and up. Register beginning April 11 by calling 901-757-7323.

Pottery
11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., South Patio
Local ceramicist Dani of Dani Soul Art will be on the south patio for a demo and Q&A throughout the Festival. Registration not required. Handcrafted items will be available for sale.

Kung Fu & Combat
11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., North Patio
Join instructors from Midsouth Shaolin Longfist Kung Fu for demonstrations and hands-on combat how-tos. Schedule TBA. Watch this space! Waiver Required.

Crochet Basics
11 a.m. to noon, Center of Library
Learn a simple chain stitch to create a crocheted bracelet, and take home a crochet needle, mini skein of yarn, and project sheet, while supplies last. Ages 6 and up. Registration not required.

Weaving
11 a.m. to noon, Demo All Day, Center of Library
Join this how-to workshop with the Memphis Guild of Handloom Weavers for an introduction to weaving on a small loom. Register starting April 11 by calling 901-757-7323. Observers are welcome. Followed by an open demo, sales, and Q&A from noon to 3:30 p.m.

Ukulele

Sue Kirstein will lead this hands-on exploration of ukulele playing, complete with instruments to try. All ages. Registration is not required.

Sand Art Bracelets

3D Printing
